I have over 3 years of experience in sound design & audio implementation for games. I specialize in tonal, synth-driven design, and with a strong programming background I love building robust systems for incredibly adaptive game audio.

Currently, I am working on the upcoming action-adventure title, Insignia by Uppon Hill.

I am also the creator of the popular open source chiptune and sound design software, WaveTracker.

When I'm not working, I enjoy cooking, making music, and watching movies.

INSIGNIA

Insignia

Insignia is an upcoming action-adventure RPG by Uppon Hill. I am responsible for all of the audio design and implementation via FMOD and Unity.

I also assist in the design and development of tooling to allow for an easier audio workflow for our team, such as C# scripts extending FMOD's built in spatializer functionality to allow for greater control over distance attenuation behavior, and a system that lets us easily assign background music and ambience tracks to scenes.

REDESIGNS

A Short Hike

This redesign is focused on creating a cozy, relaxed, nature soundscape to match the pace of A Short Hike's easygoing gameplay.

It is mostly a linear redesign, except for the character dialogue sounds. I recreated the game's text engine in Unity, implemented the sounds with FMOD, then recorded the output. The character dialogue sounds you hear are actually produced in-engine.

The Messenger - Glacial Peak

All of these sounds were sequenced entirely in Famitracker with the VRC6 expansion chip with no additional processing (apart from the howling wind ambience).
They are hardware accurate to the Nintendo Famicom, which is the same system that The Messenger pays homage to in its graphics and music.
